Product + Purpose
What is Guidepost?
Guidepost is a structured, physical system that organizes your financial information, access details, and instructions—so your family can act with clarity and confidence when it matters most.
Why wouldn’t I just organize this in a spreadsheet or notes app?
You can—but that’s where many families run into problems.
Information often exists in these forms. But when it’s spread across files, notes, and systems, it still requires someone else to piece it together under pressure.
Guidepost is built to be followed, not interpreted.
It brings structure, clarity, and sequencing into one place—so your family isn’t left trying to reconstruct everything when it matters most.
How is this different from a will or trust?
A will or trust defines what should happen. Guidepost helps your family understand how to carry it out. It connects the dots between documents, accounts, advisors, and next steps.
Why does estate readiness matter?
Because even well-planned estates often break down in execution. Families are often left searching for information and access, navigating institutions, and making decisions under pressure—without a clear starting point.
What problem does Guidepost solve?
- Guidepost eliminates: scattered information, missing access, and unclear next steps
- And replaces it with: centralized clarity, documented access, a structured execution path
Is Guidepost a legal / law product?
No. Guidepost is not a legal product and does not replace a will, trust, or legal advice.
It complements your estate plan by organizing the practical information your family will need—what exists, how to access it, and what to do first.
Legal documents define your wishes. Guidepost helps ensure they can be carried out without confusion.
When should I complete something like this?
The best time to complete something like this is before your family needs to rely on it.
In practice, that window often closes quickly once a situation becomes urgent.
Guidepost is designed to ensure everything is already in place—so your family isn’t left trying to create clarity under pressure.
